Best Tropicana Green Smoothie Recipe
Mango is outrageously delicious! In a green smoothie, this is no exception. Mango “King of the Fruits” is rich in pre-biotic dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
This smoothie is more like a dessert than breakfast! You can use any type of green you like, but we are opting for baby kale and spinach (Krispkut Kale and Spinach Mix). If you can’t get your hands on mango, peaches or nectarines are will also taste delicious.
- 1 ripe mango
- 1 ripe banana
- 1-2 cups water or unsweetened almond milk
- 2 generous handfuls of dark leafy greens (silverbeet, spinach, or kale)
- ½ cup ice
- Berries, to garnish
- Place everything into a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute or until bright green, smooth and creamy. Serve immediately topped with chia seeds or berries.
- Note: If you have a regular blender (not a high-speed Vitamix), it’s best to blend the liquid and fruit first. Then add the greens, then ice.
