Slow-Cooker Bacon Macaroni and Cheese
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound pasta shells .
- 1 10.75-ounce can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 12-ounce cans evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 slices cooked bacon, chopped and divided
- Sliced scallions, for garnish (optional)

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 3/4 cup light cream or half and half + more for brushing the biscuits

Maple Glazed Banana Bread
Ingredients
Bread
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3-4 medium bananas, or 2 large bananas
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Maple Glaze
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Spicy Turkey Chili
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño, minced
- 1 tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 15-oz. can black beans, rinsed
- 1 28-oz. can diced tomatoes
- 4 c. low-sodium chicken broth
- Green onions, for garnish
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar

Slow-Cooker Turkey Chili
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound ground turkey meat
- 1 smokey sausage (chourico or linguica)
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 1 large red onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 3 cloves, garlic
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 1 bundle curly parsley
- 1 – 2 cups water

Pasta bake with spinach, ricotta and tomato sauce
Ingredients
- 500g short pasta such as rigatoni or penne
- 4 packed cups (160g) baby spinach leaves
- 350g fresh ricotta
- 200g fresh mozzarella or bocconcini, torn
- Pecorino (or parmesan), grated, to serve
- Sea salt and black pepper
- Basil leaves, to serve
- Tomato sauce (or 1 litre of store-bought tomato sauce, see tips above)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2-1 tsp red chili flakes (to taste)
- 1 large can (800g) pureed or diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- Sea salt and black pepper
